Rachel is a singer/songwriter based in Oxfordshire and performs at venues and festivals as a solo performer and with the Folk Gospel and Blues Band. Her music is routed in English folk music, interpreted with a contemporary twist. As well as producing her own CDs, she has supported other artists (including Martyn Joseph) and done session work for other musical projects. She is one of a handful of folk musicians who have won the Bill Bailey Award for Performance (awarded as part of Chipping Norton Music Festival Folk sessions) on three occasions. She has sung with fellow songwriter Colin Pitts (who is at the Old Fire Station on Saturday- see info there) in the past, and Colin will share her spot this time.
