Trinculo plays classic, tuneful and gritty tunes that are a joy to dance to. Based in Sheffield this popular band has recently returned to playing after a sabbatical, and they are raring to go after appearances at Shrewsbury Folk Festival and SHOCC. The line-up is Aisling Holmes fiddle, Gemma Easton sax, Ray Cunningham melodeon, Nigel Holmes guitar and Lee O’Donald bass.

The fantastic Alison Rowley joins the band to call the dances. She’s a fiddle player, teacher and caller who is much in demand, and has a lovely selection of dances. Non-gendered calls will be used.
