15:30 - 15:55

Where

Common Ground
37-38 Little Clarendon Street, Oxford, Oxfordshire, OX1 2HU

Event Type

Described as ‘a flute player focussing particularly on the songs and Morris tunes of Oxfordshire. She has leading light of the Oxford folk scene’, Amy Gill is a traditional singer and built up an extensive repertoire of songs and sings for the most part unaccompanied, occasionally intertwining flute and voice to create lively arrangements. Amy uses old songs to tell enduring stories, of land and of loss, and of a better world to come. For the rest of the weekend, you’ll find her dancing with Summertown Morris, playing in sessions, and keeping the festival social media up to date!
