DESCRIPTION:Contra dancing is the North American equivalent of ceilidh. It
 ’s fast-paced\, sociable and highly addictive. Caller Charlotte Rich-Gri
 ffin will be walking us through the basic contra moves for the first half 
 hour of this dance\, then selecting and calling some fantastic dances. Non
 -gendered calls will be used.\n\nMusic is from the fiddle and guitar duo C
 haotic Good. Expect excellent\, high-energy contra music from musicians wh
 o've played everywhere from folk clubs to festivals for the last decade. T
 hey are Adam Rich-Griffin (The Night Before\, Contrasaurus) on guitar\, an
 d Nicky McConkey (The Night Before\, Minor Contravention) playing fiddle. 
 They play a wide range of amazing tunes that are just great to dance to!\n
 \nDoors 1:45pm\, dancing from 2-2:30 contra basics session dance 2:30-5pm.
 \n\nThere is a licensed bar with real ale\, cider\, wine and soft drinks.
