DESCRIPTION:Banter has appeared on BBC Radio 2\, have four albums\, and are
  quite the hardest working ceilidh band around!\n\n“A splendid disregard
  for musical boundaries\, but with a respect for English traditional music
 ” – Songlines – 4 star review\n\nBanter is: Simon Care on melodeon &
  concertina\, Nina Zella on keyboards & vocals\, Tim Walker on drums\, per
 cussion\, brass\, guitar\, bass & vocals and Mark Jolley on bass\, fiddle\
 , guitar & vocals. They are rooted in English traditional music but incorp
 orate influences of pop\, jazz\, soul and big band sounds. Although just f
 our people\, they create a huge sound and have been described as the world
 ’s smallest big band.\n\nOur caller this evening is the ever wonderful S
 heena Masson. She chooses really good dances\, and has a great way of expl
 aining them.\n\nNon-gendered calls will be used.
